THE BAND
“I am a big fan of The Grace Well. Their music is powerful and compelling. It’s the kind of music that one can easily get lost in. Unlike many groups, they don’t compromise Biblical truth for empty sentimentality. This is not to say that their music isn’t deeply emotional, but emotion does not outweigh the truth of God’s Word.” – Danny Burnham, Pastor of Bayshore Baptist Church– Bradenton, FL.

In 2006, The Grace Well joined together in New Orleans with a passion for music and a heart for sharing the gospel through worship leadership. The original members were fellow worship leaders and musicians with their student and college ministries. The band name was chosen from John’s Gospel account of Jesus’s encounter with the woman at the well. The woman came to the well to get water, but instead, was transformed by the grace of Jesus from his well of living water that never runs dry.
Since 2007, the band has led worship for Mission Lab, a summer missions camp at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. They also led other events at NOBTS such as Out Of Range and Defend the Faith Conferences. Through the years, they have traveled all over the southern United States to minister at summer camps, D-Now weekends, university events, associational conferences, and church gatherings. Additionally, God has given them the privilege of serving alongside other speakers and artists including David Platt, Tom Richter, The Museum, Leeland, and Building 429.
The band has recorded three albums. The Grace Well EP was written from the kingdom parables in Matthew, including songs like “The Sheep” and “The Sower.” Not Ours But Yours is a collection of worship songs focusing on spiritual renewal and revival. In their full length album, Show the Unseen, the songs reflect the majestic characteristics of God and celebrate the incredible fact that our Creator has made himself known to us, and provided the Way for us to have a relationship with Him throughout our lives and circumstances.
To sum it up, “The Grace Well is a group of guys whose lives have been changed by Jesus, and their corporate worship is simply an overflow of their personal worship,” said Nathan Cline, Teaching Pastor at REVO Church in Winston Salem, NC. “It’s not staged, forced, or performed. This is a group of guys that have been changed by Jesus and can’t seem to get over it!”
